Back at it.....

Back n memphis getting ready for camp to start. I had a good time back at home this past weekend, but its back to business. The whole team is down here now workingout....and we've been getting some good pick up games in. Its been nice 2 c everyone down here working hard together before training camp starts. We get to start camp early this season bcuz we are goin to spain for preseason games. So ill try to keep you all posted on how camp is going in my next blogs.

  Sounds great man. Is Navarro there yet? And how has practice been going with him? He seems to be a question mark right now, I am really interested in seeing how that works out. And of course Darko... How do you think thats gonna work out?

  Hakim, are you looking forward to the trip to Spain? Do you feel this puts you guys at a disadvantage going into the regular preseason games against teams here that have not had to make a trip overseas?

  Fortunate for me I am also a Memphis Grizzlies fan having been born, raised, and currently living in Memphis .... I was sooo glad to see that the Grizzlies drafted you .... Now I get the best of both worlds ... Now only if we could trade for Mello I would be in Heaven ! May be bring McNabb to the Titans .... That's another story in itself... My question to you is .... How well do you think you have improved this off season being that you worked with Mello again ? .... I think that last season you could see a GREAT deal of improvement .... Do you and Darko have some battles in the pick up games ? .... If you could predict the starting PG this season who would you pick ?

  Though to be fair McNamara was always a close second and his string of last second 3 pointers during the Big East tourny you guys rocked put him almost on even footing. What were you thinking when he did the 2nd, 3rd, 4th time?

  Man between you and conley the grizz might be playoff contenders. Looking pretty darn good you guys are. Keep up the good work and practice hard and I hope it pays off for you guys. I like to see good hard practices. I'm not use to it but as of late I have been surprised by my hometown Portland Trailblazers. They are all actually showing up for practice and most of them even started before they were supposed to. Player decision. Now that is unheard of in Portland. LOL
