In response 2 MC

I forgot to mention in my 1st post how big of video game player I am. Ive been playing video games since super mario brothers and duck hunt. Anyways, im bringing this up bcuz the other day my teammate Mike Conley called me out the other day on his blog. Yes he beat the breaks off of me the last time we played, however keep n mind that the game just came out and i really didnt have my plays and my feel of the game yet. So stay posted bcuz next time we play you all should be looking for a post about me giving him the beat down. With that being said I was just wondering what was some of yall best video games of all time was? I know for me the 1st game that come to mind is techmo bowl. Another classic was 007 for N64, I remember staying up all night playing that game with my lil brother and cousin.

I was definitely a huge Super Tecmo Bowl and 007 fan as well...I also have to throw NBA Jam into the ring as another classic. How about a little Mike Tyson's Punchout too?

Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest for N64 was pretty good. Also Mario Kart has got to be up there and all those wrestling games were popular for awhile. How competitive are the guys on the team with video games?

super nes: zelda: a link to the past; my friends and i recently brought this out of its shoebox, cleared the dust, and spent two consecutive sunday afternoons playing for 8 straight hours (16 hours total) until we beat it. i'm not proud of this, but it was pretty epic.

Goldeneye, definitely Goldeneye...I was always horrible but could play for hours. Same thing with Mortal Kombat....I always played as that awesome chick in the jazzercize outfit. I also really miss Kirby...I mean, who the hell came up with a game featuring fat ghost? Genius...

Galaga at the video game store was my favorite. I have been thinking about saving up some money and buying me one. :D Video game wise, the first NCAA basketball I think thru Nintindo was great!

007 for n64 was the best , me and my brothers would play that all the time... then perfect dark came out which was like 007 on steroids. that is prolly the greatest game ever.. perfect dark. and im talkin about the old school perfect dark for 64 not the 360 one!!

also teenage mutant ninja turtles games for the NES are classic also

the best alltime game made by sega and played on sega genisis is sonic the hedghog and warrick u cant see me in any nba 2k sports games and madden yo if u come to atl u shud come to my house just to play me in those games and i have ps2 so u gonna have to bring ur system lol (like ur actually gonna come).

Golden Eye on the N64 was possibly the best game ever! My favorite levels were Stack and Complex! I used to run around and throw those proximity mines everywhere!

In terms of sports games, very little can stack up to NBA Live 96 for the Super Nintendo. It's such a great multiplayer experience, even to this day. It was really great that you could create Jordan and Barkley and all the great players from the past like Pistol Pete, Bill Russell, and even the 95 draft class like Garnett and Stackhouse. I'm also partial to NFL 2K5 and I'm still playing it as my primary NFL game to this day.

Other than that, it's all about Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Chrono Trigger, Metal Gear Solid, Zelda: Link to the Past, Mario Karts, ActRaiser, Gran Turismo, Super Castlevania IV, and Sonic 2. I'm also a big RPG nerd, so I like stuff like EarthBound, Disgaea 2, Final Fantasy VI, Vandal-Hearts, Paper Mario, and so on.

Best of luck beating Mike. It'd be really cool to see video blog highlights of your guys' game.

goldeneye, perfect dark, super mario kart, NBA Jam TE (sega genesis) was awesome because you could enter cheats to play as a team mascot, larry bird, will smith and jazzy jeff haha, super smash bros (n64 one), donkey kong, and for the computer the best game of all time is Counter-Strike.

omg...007 was the greatest game on N64!!! What sucked though was there would always be that one person who would play as Oddjob and screw multiplayer for everyone else (disgruntal mumble under breath)

well maybe it was second best next to Mario Kart

NES was by far the best system IMO. RBI 2, RC Pro AM, Dr. Mario, and Marble Madness. And you're right about Techmo Bowl (both). I really like MK4 on PS, that is an underated game. It's gotta be almost impossible for you NBA guys to play the original NES with the size of your hands. How do you do it?

None of ya'll even mentioned Contra. Man I used to tear that game up, I still remember the code to get 30 extra lives. And Gradius III on SNES was fun.

Anyway, next time you beat Conley down in Madden! And tell him he better throw you some alley-oops this year or the beatdowns will continue!! LOL

Super Nintendo: NBA Jam "Hakim's on FIRRRRRE!"

Sega Genesis: Tie between NHL 93 (one-timers!) and Mega Bomberman

Playstation 2: God of War

Xbox: Halo (hands down)

PS3: dunno, haven't played anything except for that stupid alien/world war 2 game. Plus the PS3 looks like a Foreman grill.

The kids in our house really kick my ass at these new video games. Too many darn buttons!!! But you give me the Giants on the original Tecmo Bowl and I'm sackmaster all day with LT! As far as my favorite of all time Street Fighter was my favorite game when I was in high school! Its the fighting game that started em all!!

Old school. Dr. J vs Larry Bird 1 on 1 and then jordan vs bird. (those dunk offs were pretty advanced)
Tetris and the old nintendo Handhelds with Donkey kong and Donkey Kong Jr.
other than that the Lakers vs Celtics NBA games, and the live series, the NHL series as well.

Metal gear solid had me awake most nights

new Games Uncharted, COD4, Heavenly Sword, NBA2k series and FIFA
