Welcome to Warrick's World. I've decided to register my planet with the steady expanding sports blogging universe, so get used to my orbit. Just to give you a lil background about myself, I was born and raised in West Philly. From there I took my game up north and played with the Orange in Syracuse. Nowadays my game is displayed in NBA cities around the country as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies. Entering my 3rd season in the nba I really want to establish myself as one of the elite young players. I really dedicated myself in the offseason to becoming a more polished player. I really didn't take any vacations or that much time off. I just tried to get as much time in the gym as I possible. Other than working out I spent the most of my time with my family and friends because I know I really won't get a chance to see them as often during the season. Overall I'd say I had a pretty good summer and I feel refreshed and ready for the season 2 begin. I'm back in Memphis to get a head start for training camp, which is right around the corner.

Welcome Hakim! Thanks to fantasy basketball I've been keeping an eye on you for the past 2 years. Hopefully you can average 35+ minutes a game this year. I think as long as you get the playing time you'll definitely establish yourself as one of the elite players.

Great that you have a blog....all of us want to know if you have gained weight this summer. We feel that a fast paced game will show case your talents; but a larger frame is needed to bang inside. So, did you gain weight?

Welcom to the Yard Hakim! I definitely think you can break out this year and get noticed as an elite young player this year. I think with Iaveroni coming over from the Suns was the best head coaching move of the offseason. You, Pau, and Mike have a chance to be a great, entertaining team this year, along with Mike Miller and the rest of the Grizz. I'll keep an eye out for you Hakim. Good luck!
