The Steelers have three open roster spots left to complete their 90-man roster and the team may soon have just one remaining.
Reports say that Pittsburgh hosted LB Kwon Alexander on Monday night and is hosting QB Mason Rudolph on Tuesday.

The #Steelers are expected to re-sign QB Mason Rudolph, bringing him back for a sixth season, per multiple reports. He'll be in the facility tomorrow.

The Steelers had five spots left heading into rookie minicamp last weekend, but with the two latest signings of RB Alfonzo Graham and CB Luq Barcoo, they are now down to three.
Pittsburgh is expected to bring back Rudolph, who's spent the past five seasons with the Steelers after being drafted by them in 2018. He will likely serve as the team's QB3 in 2023 and can become the backup once again if Mitch Trubisky, who's entering the final year of his deal, leaves next offseason.
However, there have been no reports of a signing since Alexander's visit. If Pittsburgh can sign him, they would be providing some much-needed depth to the inside linebacker room.
Alexander, who is still only 28, played in all 17 games for the Jets in 2022, starting in 12 and posting a career-low 5.5 percent missed tackle rate.
It is rare that players leave the Steelers' facility without a contract, but general manager Omar Khan has been very active and aggressive this offseason. Don't be surprised if a signing still happens.
